If you’re reading this, you are probably a succulent collector. People often say you do not have to do anything to keep your succulents alive, in some cases that may not be true… One of the trickiest parts of taking care of your succulents is to water them. Succulents need very little water and good drainage. Succulents should only be watered when they are nearly completely dry. Another tricky part of taking care of a succulent is, sunlight. The amount of sun needed varies with each type of succulent. Many succulents tend to stretch out and lose their original shape when succulents do not get enough light. Succulents that have spaces between the leaves tend to do well in low light situations as their shape won’t become distorted if they stretch out. Most vibrant coloured succulents require bright sunlight to keep their colour. Succulents that are green and have a light colour do not need as much light and will stay looking prettier with just enough light! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!
